Driving from Orlando FL to Virginia became a very long, hard drive, so we ended up jumping off at the first available campground inside the Virginia state line. It was KOA at Fancy Gap, VA. It was off the interstate, up a little mountain road, & camp sites were snuggled among lots of trees. Although we had electric for A/C, it was in the 50’s at night and we left a window open. Loved that wi-fi too!
Thank you for stopping by to follow my adventures (& misadventures) since Jume 2011 as I travel & live fulltime in a 17' Liberty Deluxe Casita (a molded fiberglass travel trailer). This is a history of my experiences & hopefully will provide help to others with the same dreams. Hope to meet you down the road sometime.
I drive through Fancy Gap every time I am in the east, and have always thought of using the KOA. It looks like you had a level spot.
