We waited six weeks for our customized Casita, taking delivery on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at the factory in Rice, TX (an eastern suburb of Dallas, TX). After working all day Tuesday, we took turns driving & napping all night long to arrive at the factory shortly after 8am. Our delivery inspection took several hours, filled with loads of information and suggestions for maintaining and enjoying our new Casita travel trailer.
We spent our first night in our new Casita at the American RV Park in Corsicana, TX to get set up and comfortable in our new camper. The air conditioner was much needed and worked fantastic! The park also had free wi-fi, so I could check email and surf.
