Living outside of Kansas City, MO, it’s faster to get to many places in Kansas than to get to the east side of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
Kansas has fishing lakes in nearly every county — free to camp, no services except usually potable water faucet and bathrooms. But, unlike Missouri, the campsites are right on the water, so Jeff can park a few poles & return to the picnic table or camp fire while still keeping an eye out for bites.
We had a great fire going which felt great on these early October evenings. We were also parked across from the only lights in the park.
So, is it dedication, meditation, or prayer?
The 2nd day’s sunrise was gorgeous!
