The
Off Road Camping Club [ORCC] arranged with
Bass Pro Shops of Springfield, MO to display, test out, & recommend various camping products at an Outdoor Fair held at
Springfield Lake, south of Springfield, MO, to increase interest by the public in camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
It was a perfect, sunny, crisp Fall weekend — warm during the day & fire-snuggling evenings.
A couple of club members came with their Oliver Travel Trailers.
This was a colorful Fall sunrise Saturday, with the sun reflecting off the lake below our camping area.
This was the easterly shore at the end of the area where the Outdoor Fair was held.
These colorful kiaks were available for rental by the public.
A rock climbing tower was even provided to attract interest from the public.
Sunday evening’s sunset was a perfect ending to an active weekend.
