This is the nicest little camping area. Unfortunately, there’s only 3 camp sites, the best being at the end, snuggled on the south side of a wooded hill, sheltered from cold, north winds when not wanted. But accessing cooling, south breezes that come across the lake to you for warm/hot weather.
This push pin shows on the wrong side of the lake when zoomed out on this map.
This is the view south west toward the main area of the lake. Unfortunately, the weekend we camped here some ya-ya’s were racing around in their “fishing” boat, causing lots of waves washing into shore & disturbing the fishing attempts.
You realize it’s called fishing — not catching!
View directly south across the inlet.

Saturday’s sunset.
Kira decided to wander out into the water along the shoreline, supposedly to get a drink. All of a sudden she disappeared from sight — went totally under the water. Shocked her & I both! Thankfully, I was hanging onto her long leash & gently pulled her quickly back to shore. With all that hair tho, she left a trail of water like a car driving out from a car wash. Shake, shake, shake, but it still took hours for her to dry.

If you have it [love], you don't need to have anything else. If you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you have. -- James M. Barrie
