Orlando FL, July 2008

We spent Thursday, July 10, driving to Pensacola, FL to spend the night in the backyard of a fellow-photographer on-line friend.  Even after the very long trip, our visit was much too short.

Friday then we headed out for Orlando FL, and arrived at rush hour during a raging July thunderstorm! Guess is rains every day during July in Orlando! Thanks to the many maps I'd printed, we drove directly to our reserved camp ground at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake, Orlando FL  Quiet, neat, shady, & not terribly crowded campground.  Behind locked gates at night too.

We planned to be in Orlando FL by Sat, July 12 because Jeff’s only daughter’s first baby was due that day.  But babies being babies, grandson didn’t arrived until Thursday . . . and we planned to leave on Tuesday. So, we didn’t get to see JT.
